Think about where and when you have a captive audience. THAT'S the best time to communicate with them...about your nonprofit's impact, about your donors deserving of recognition, and even about your need with an easy way to donate (a QR code is awfully handy for that).
Where is your audience most captive? In a bathroom stall, in the elevator or front step of your HQ.... If you're an arts organization, using your playbill is the very definition of "capturing your audience" so make the most of it! Transcendence Theatre Company in Sonoma caught my attention during a recent performance in all the best ways.
As a first-timer to their performance, I now know who they are, what they do, and how grateful and dependent their are on donor support....thanks to their playbill.
Find your captive audience...then captivate them!
