Database Scrub

It's the time of year to plan your spring cleaning, so don't forget the most important cleaning you’ll do all year: your database scrub.

Why? Data is your fundraising gold!

Beyond the basics, like fixing email issues and expired credit card numbers, here are a few less obvious but important to-dos:

• Unify household records and link spousal contributions

• Properly soft credit donations from donor-advised funds 

• Tag your Board members, your volunteers, and your VIPs so you can pull segmented reports and communicate in unique ways to these groups. 

Remember, your data is your Gold. Invest in it!
